At this very moment you are living and breathing your life story
Let me help you write your legacy

Excerpt 1 from a client's life story
My ring fell off in the sink.
I was in the bathroom, one hand under the faucet, the other about to turn on the tap to wash my hands when it happened. The soft tinkle of metal bouncing on porcelain sounded more to me like the harsh jangle of an alarm clock as it jars you out of a peaceful sleep.
I had noticed a change a few weeks earlier in the way my clothes fit me. They were loose, baggy even. Had I misjudged my clothing size all my years of shopping for myself? No. Someone had to be messing with my clothes. They had even exchanged my belt for longer ones. I put extra holes in them to keep my pants from falling. It suddenly dawned on me: I was losing weight. But why? I had not changed my diet or eating habits. I had not noticed any changes in my bodily functions that would have caused me to be concerned. In fact, I visited the doctor for my twice annual physical where they took my blood pressure, checked my cholesterol, and did all the other routine checks. I felt fine.
But my wedding band slid off my finger, the same wedding band that had to be adjusted to a larger size a few months after I had gotten married in 2007. It was time to accept that something was not right. A person does not suddenly drop weight with the type of healthy appetite I had. I gazed at my image in the bathroom mirror; an uneasy feeling was worming its way into the pit of my stomach. It was time to pay the doctor a visit.

What is legacy writing?

The excerpt you read is the real life story of one of my clients. This sample is the type of legacy writing I do. You share aspects of your life and I record your history in writing. You can give me a chronological account of your life (autobiography) or you can focus on giving me significant events in your life that, on your reflection, shaped you in some way (memoir).
Legacy writing is not only for personal purposes. If you are a professional in your field and want to share your knowledge, authoring a book is the right move for you. That is your way of leaving a business legacy.
Why should you write your legacy?
-
You get to share your life and memories with your family so you live on after you have transitioned.
-
You can be a source of inspiration and comfort to people who may be dealing with a difficult situation/issue.
-
You get a chance to showcase your expertise in your area and make a name for yourself, all while generating passive income.
